Astrology Commentary for Week of August 1, 2010

Wow! Another potent and powerful week! Indeed, it does seem as though change is inevitable. Change can be good, but it can also be temporarily disorienting. Then again, if we can really synchronize ourselves with the cathartic winds that carry change, then it can be exciting, exhilarating and euphoric.
Seems that many people are in flux. The astrological current is so strong right now, that almost no one, unless completely unconscious, can possibly resist the intensity of the movement, pushing and pulling ~ begging for awareness of our personal truth, and then mustering the integrity to live it.
The question is… in which direction are we headed? If we are anchored down, holding on with all our might, trying to resist the power of the Universal waves of clarity and awakening ever present in the comsos now, then I am afraid we are committed to a sinking ship.
As Robert Frost says, “I took the road less traveled ~ and that has made all the difference.”
The one constant in life ~ is change. Nothing stays the same. Nothing.
We have the choice to flow with change or to be devoured by our resistance to it.
I am deeply committed to “walking my talk.” So, finally this week, after much struggle in what has slowly, yet consistently digressed into an oppressive work environment, I finally made the choice to “let go” by turning in my written 4 week notice to resign. I am “making the change” in order to better embrace those opportunities and people in my life that offer peace, gentleness, respect, trust and love.
Sometimes in life, the more we try to disengage, the more determined a few people become to “engage in struggle”, not peace.
Sometimes, we find ourselves in situations and surrounded by others try to consume our healthy and vital life force, in order to feed their own devitalized, dry and barren, darkened life force.
These people are known as “psychic vampires.” We all know atleast one person who fits the bill.
So, why do we stay for so long? The money? The illusion of security? The fear of change? The lack of self love? The lack of self worth? The belief that we don’t deserve anything better?
The fear, period.
And, of course, the real truth is, that somehow, as long as we choose to stay, we are also continuing to “engage” ~ even if by default. We may delude ourselves with the belief that others are “doing” to us. But the truth is, as long as we stay, we are “allowing” them to.
We have choices.
Often, though, we fail to realize that simply by remaining “in place,” we are condoaning other’s abusive behavior toward us.
Sometimes, are greatest adversaries are our greatest teachers ~ there to show us what we do not want, therefore springing us into “right” action on our own behalf.
So, to those adversarial teachers, I say “Thank you. Thank you for showing me the right path.”
So, I feel empowered as I stand tall in my truth. I am grateful that I finally love myself enough, and am truly able to acknowledge my self-worth and value. I am enough. I do deserve better.
I honor all of you who are now reading, and want you to know that you ~ are also enough!
When we respect ourselves, we attract those who will respect us. When we love ourselves, we attract those who will love us. When we honor ourselves for who we are, we attract others who will honor us. When we accept ourselves, all of ourselves, then we attract others who accept ALL of us, as we are.
So, the truth is, that I am thankful for the cosmic flow right now ~ the one that is helping us to take that leap of faith and trust that we will be supported by our “right” choice.
“Leap ~ and the net will appear.”
The sense of freedom and synchronistic flow that instantly followed my decision to release myself from that “job” continues to be ever-present with amazing velocity and life-giving abundance, with several opportunities to do what I love, to travel, to earn many times over what I was earning before ~ in just 2 days! A most powerful confirmation of “right choice.”
Astrologically, we are being given a green light to claim our personal freedom, to release ourselves from our shackles, mostly self-imposed.
This is the time to face your fear of failure, your fear of succes, your fear of being abandoned and create your life. You are the artist. Again, it is about trust.
“Leap and the net will appear.”
We can only numb ourselves for so long before we either make a change for the better ~ or ~ resolve to living a life of quiet desperation, bitter and oppressed, fearful and insecure.
For some, I am merely “preaching to the choir.”

The astrological weather? It’s still the same idea, just gaining momentum, strength and velocity. Several paragraphs from last week’s report explain it better than I can re-create now. Just add many !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The window is open ~ jump through it!
The bottom line in all that is happening astrologically in the here and now, is that we are all being called to seek a balance between our sense of security and our sense of freedom….and most of all to live our highest Truth…walk our talk.
We’ve all heard it before…but the rehearsal is over. This is it. How do you want to “transmute” the energy of your life?
You get to choose. Yes, some of the choices may be difficult, even excruciating ~ but they can also be liberating, exciting and empowering.

The bottom line: It’s time to live your life authentically and step into your personal power of your true divine essence and naked soul.
We are being called to let it all go now. To trust. To have faith. To know that we are exactly where we’re supposed to be. The trust is in ourselves…that higher God within us. It’s not up to anyone else to tell us how to live our lives, what we need or don’ t need to be or to do. What we should believe and not believe.
This is a call to engage the mystery in life, the trust. It’s not about making an enemy of fear, rather it’s about embracing our fear. Loving “all” of ourselves. It’s not about “getting rid of” those parts about ourselves we’d rather not admit to. It’s about loving those parts with all your might. It’s about forgiving yourself for everything.
Find your voice. Speak your truth. You don’t have to answer to anyone except yourself. Just be you. You are perfect in every essence. I deeply honor you and am with you on your path…
